Biography / Pierre Björk
Born in 1979.
Pierre Björk started out at the mere age of 17 as the third assistant to renowned Swedish photographer Magnus Reed, two years later he landed the position as Studio Manager and First Assistant at the studio of legendary Swedish fashion photographer Mikael Jansson. Pierre Björk went on to assist Bruce Weber before opening up his own studio in Stockholm in 2003. Pierre is a fashion photographer with a personal slant on the classical approach. His finely-tuned sense of lighting, choreography and post production imparts a natural strength to every image. Pierre is currently based in Stockholm and is serving clients in Stockholm, London, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York. His clients include H&M, Monsoon, Iittala, MiH Jeans, Peak Performance, Henri Lloyd Jeans, J.Lindeberg, Jeans & Clothes, Wella, Kurt Geiger, Face Stockholm. Editorial work published in Man About Town, Glamour, Stockholm New, Elle, Perfect, Tank Magazine, Monocle, i-D Magazine, Bon, Rodeo.
