Biography / Tomas Monka
Polish-born, Tomas grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, where he has made his home and carrier.
His unique photographic approach has been evolved over a decade of dedication to still-life photography. His work has a language of elegance just beyond reality. Sharpness, strong sense of lighting and focus on detail are keywords when describing Monka´s imagery.
Tomas Monka is one of the young pioneers introducing CGI as a new technique into the world of photography.
Among Tomas clients are Absolut Icebar, Fortis, Frank Vila, Plaza Watch and Plaza Magazine.The winter of 2007 he was awarded the prestigious Epica Award Bronze finalist in the advertising category for his still life photography for Cordon Bleu.
